Hello, and thank you for taking the time to visit my page. I am an Integrative Psychotherapist, Accredited CBT Therapist, Schema Therapist, and EMDR Practitioner, which means I can draw on a range of therapeutic approaches and tailor our work together to best meet your unique needs. Alongside my clinical work, I am also an experienced clinical supervisor and trainer, supporting other therapists in their own professional growth.
My passion lies in helping people who are struggling with challenges such as Eating Disorders, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD), Complex PTSD, and difficulties connected to Neurodivergence. Over the years, I have developed a special interest in Binge Eating Disorder, ARFID, Anorexia Nervosa, and Bulimia Nervosa, as well as the many different forms of OCD and the complex impact of trauma.
I am based in the beautiful surroundings of Gwynedd, North Wales, working across two practices in Menai Bridge (Isle of Anglesey) and Llandudno (Conwy County). I also offer online sessions, so whether you prefer to meet in person or from the comfort of your own space, therapy can be flexible and accessible for you.
From an early age, I have been fascinated by psychology, how our thoughts, feelings, and behaviours shape our lives. This passion led me to complete a Psychology degree followed by a Masters in Integrative Psychotherapy, giving me the foundations to work closely with people and support them through life’s most difficult moments.
I have worked in a wide range of services, including specialist trauma-informed psychotherapy services and eating disorder services, gaining extensive experience in supporting people through deeply personal and often painful struggles. My curiosity and commitment to providing the best care possible inspired me to continue developing my skills further. I went on to complete a Postgraduate Diploma in CBT and worked in NHS mental health services, supporting people with depression and anxiety disorders.
Because eating disorders are an area I care deeply about, I undertook an additional year of specialist training, and I have now been working in the field for over five years. Alongside therapy, I also provide training and supervision, helping to improve the quality of care available for people with eating disorders. More recently, I completed Schema Therapy training, allowing me to bring another powerful therapeutic approach into my private practice.
Throughout my career, I have sought out further training not only in therapeutic modalities but also in understanding specific presentations. I am particularly passionate about supporting neurodivergent clients, as neurodivergence often overlaps with challenges such as ARFID, trauma, and OCD. Adapting therapy so that it truly fits the individual, rather than the other way around, is central to how I work.
At the heart of my practice is a genuine belief that healing happens in safe, compassionate, and collaborative spaces. I aim to offer therapy that is not only evidence-based, but also warm, understanding, and tailored to you. Whether you are seeking support for an eating disorder, OCD, complex trauma, or navigating life as a neurodivergent individual, I will meet you with empathy and curiosity, working together towards meaningful change.
